Module 1

Not to sound supercilious on the subject of blogger or technology for that matter, but I have a blog account I use already. I found creating a new one to be no drama, I'd say the hardest part was thinking of a new blog name and address...you can check out some sites I visit regularly on the 'good things' (links) gadget.

The reason for my existing blogs would be the communication factor with friends and fellow sliders (surfers) from around Australia and the world. I can clearly see why schooling agents want to be part of this forward technology/communicator/educator/media presentation that is Web 2.0. Allowing teachers and students the chance to learn & manage their own content, has never been more accessible. Such an opportunity to include written content in addition to visual stimuli, combined with a chance to provide feedback will be beneficial to students and teachers alike.

I look forward to this learning experience on the journey that is Web 2.0, I'm sure to improve upon my own knowledge of blogger and tap into its potential for classroom engagement.

  1. Karl you seem like a very knowledgeable person, and I think the idea that we are able to manage our own content is a valuable asset in this day and age. How far this technology will go, will be determined by the usefulness as a resource.
